WHO IS THE BAKER?
Hi Bakery Babes! I am Tiara, founder of the Bath Bakery Bar. I was born in Albany, Georgia, but raised in McDonough, Georgia. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2019 and Masters of Science in Human Services from Mercer University in 2021. I am a naturally over the top creative person who loves diy projects, cooking, painting, & drawing. You name it!
I take pride in creating products that are not only really pretty & safe for your skin but are made up of ingredients that you can pronounce.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Before The Bath Bakery bar began, we were known as Organic Sistas Bath Company (OSBC). OSBC started as a homegrown project during the pandemic in July 2020 (after Tiara beat COVID) with two sistas, Tiara & Ta'Laya, with the passion to create, influence wellness, & promote self-care. I suffered from chronic insomnia & anxiety and the only thing that helped me get through my days and nights was taking a hot shower filled with all sorts soaps, scrubs and body wash.
The Sistas started small by making all natural foaming face wash, sugar scrubs and body butters around Christmas in 2020. Without limitations, the business grew. There was a big market for fun, unique, bath and body care we made, and just like that, our dessert like products became a full-time crowd-pleaser.
September 2021, Ta'Laya enlisted into the United States Marine Corps and moved out of Georgia.
October 2022, The Bath Bakery Bar was born. I decided to change the name because all of our customers raved about how edible our products looked & smelled in the kitchen and in the packaging. We have the same mission; being passionate about bringing natural fun, unique bath & body products that look & smell good enough to eat!
